Justification: Since the end of the 80's, there
has been a raise in the number of people wounded and killed by gunshots and
explosions. It has been specially important because of the introduction in
eastern countries of gangs of the former USSR and western countries. We find,
nowadays, that people wounded and killed by gunshots are not only a consequence
of terrorism but part of the common delinquency. Knowledge about these topics is
a very important input in the database for forensic research and as a result for
the criminal prosecution.We have faced two terrorist massacres, in New York
(11th of September of 2001) and Madrid (11th of March of 2004) and the
specialised skill in this field has proved to be decisive in the tasks of
identification of the victims.
