I am pleased to inform you that the combined
4th International Annual Conference of South Asian Regional Conference of
Dermatology (SARCD) and 33rd Annual National Conference of the Indian
Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) is being
held from February 3rd - 6th, 2005 in New Delhi, India under the banner DERMACON
2005. The conference envisions guest lectures, orations, scientific paper
presentations, discussions, symposia, workshops etc. covering various facets in
the field of dermatology and expects over 4000 delegates from India and abroad.
The audience will comprise faculty, specialists and residents in dermatology,
venereology and leprology. We hope to witness the best national and
international brains juggling out the perfect academic feast. India, the fabled
ancient land, is bounded by the Himalayas to the north, lush green forests to
the north-east, scenic valleys of Kashmir to the north-west and Kanyakumari
tapering into the India ocean at the southern peninsula. It is also home to a
medley of traditions, languages and customs that have influenced its culture
throughout history. The capital city of Delhi is the travel hub , a reflection
of the landmarks and heritage sites such as Red fort, Jama Masjid, Qutab Minar,
Raj Ghat, Bahai temple, Birla Mandir which still stand testimony to the present
history. The world famous monument of Taj Mahal at Agra and fabulous palaces of
Jaipur are just 200 km away. The pleasant weather at that time would make
shopping a pleasure at various markets dotting the capital city.
