It is a pleasure to invite you to Hyderabad to
participate in Sunayana 2007 , the 65th Annual Meeting of the All India
Ophthalmological Society, February 1-4, 2007. Hyderabad, one of the most
distinctive and historic of Indian cities is the fifth largest city in India.
The city pulsates with life, providing a fine blend of the old world charm and
its distilled flavor with the exuberant energy and passion of the Generation
Next. Here it is that you can savor the rich, yet serene Nawabi culture even as
you seamlessly tango with its cosmopolitan rhythm. Hyderabad is known for its
social harmony, traditional hospitality and legendary cuisine. It enjoys a

The climate in February is balmy and invigorating to say the least. The annual
meeting of the All India Ophthalmological Society today is the second largest
congregation of ophthalmologists in the world. The Scientific Committee has
planned a conference with impact. The Meeting will assemble an outstanding
faculty and a strong representation of clinical opinion leaders. We have invited
the true pioneers in the field of ophthalmology to share with us their unique
experiences and offer new perspectives. The conference will be held in the most
modern state-of-the art conference and exposition facilities Hyderabad
International Convention Centre (HICC) and Hyderabad International Trade
Expositions (HITEX) located in the new knowledge and infrastructure corridor of
Hyderabad, appropriately called Cyberabad. We expect Sunayana 2007 to continue
the tradition of excellence and amity established by the previous meetings and
