The Third Asian Conference on Vision (ACV2004) will be held in Chongqing, China, on November 15-19th, 2004. The great success of the first and second ACV serial conferences made the organizers ascertain the special significance of the event. With the firm supports from the active participants, institutions and sponsors, the third conference is expected to succeed the spirit and to go further on the long way of accelerating the development of vision sciences in Asia. ACV2004 will provide a forum for vision research in the region, while participants from other parts of the world are equally welcome. Original works on all aspects of vision research are encouraged to attend the conference.
